Ever since a young age, I have found myself intrigued by visiting many different places. This is mainly due to my interest in seeing how others live outside my own personal box. For instance, visiting a place like Greece can show ruins that one may never see in a place like Chicago, where I'm from. When I as thirteen, I had the chance to visit France with a school program. Although I was young and immature, I still began to appreciate the different lifestyles one could live across the sea. Their interests can be so different that we find some of them out of the ordinary. This next summer, I will be traveling back to Europe for a study abroad program. While I will be taking a handful of classes, I still am going to spend as much time seeing different places. Europe is really not that big but each country can lay out a whole different landscape and way of life. One's type of food could be completely different than a neighboring country. Some are surrounded by mountains whereas some rest on the beach. In all, I feel that this trip will help me step outside my boundaries and deepen my excitement for travel.
