Instructional Technology Specialist and Texas Certified Principal in Plano, Texas

Instructional Technology Specialist, TX certified principal, Google Certified Educator, @EdCampGlobal organizer, @pisdetsi organizer

I am addicted to learning and passionate about educational technology. I began my career teaching at the elementary level. After receiving a M.S. degree in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems, I began working as an Instructional Technology Specialist and this is my 14th year in that position. In 2009, I earned a second Master's degree in Educational Administration and am a TX certified principal. I am dedicated to promoting 21st century skills, digital citizenship, and meaningful curriculum connections in all aspects of tech integration. I am an advocate for all learners and strive to find solutions to end the digital divide.

I have had the privilege of presenting on various topics relating to professional development, tech integration, and digital citizenship/literacy at ASCD, Region 10 Tech, North Texas Visioning Consortium, Texserv Technology Symposium, and various edCamps.
