How many people are in your family? Who are they?
There are six people in my family, I have 2 sisters and 1 brother and they all attended WSU! My oldest sister is a lawyer, my middle sister is graduating from medical school and my brother is a paraeducator. We are all very close and love that we are all a part of the cougar family!
Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU because nothing feels better than being a part of the amazing cougar family and community. I knew I wanted to be a Coug since I was 8! All of my siblings had gone to WSU and I had seen how much they loved it so there was no where else I wanted to be!
What advice do you have for new students?
Get Involved! Find what you love and pursue it because WSU has so much to offer! Take advantage of all of the amazing opportunities ahead of you! You will never regret getting involved! Do one thing while you are here that pushes you out of your comfort zone, you never know who you might meet!
What advice do you have for new cougar parents?
Call, write, and send care packages to your student! It really means a lot and helps the student if they are having a rainy day. Be their support system! It can be hard to transition and try new things so have a strong support system behind them is always helpful!
