Clare Froggatt is a passionate educator, a writer and the creator of the blog Girl on a Swing.
In 2009 Clare received news that altered her life; her eldest daughter had been diagnosed with Leukaemia. She recorded her journey, both terrifying and life affirming on Girl on a Swing. This blog has recently been nominated for the Australian Writers’ Centre, Best Australian Blogs People’s Choice Award.
Clare’s writing has been described as beautifully poignant, and thought provoking. She articulates so well that in life we can never foresee the obstacles that may be placed in our path, but with faith and love, we can survive it. Life can still hold beauty and through our experiences there is meaning.
