My PhD is concerned with understanding the 'grip' of cost-benefit analysis in public policy decisions and uses a post-structuralist, critical discourse theory approach, utilising Glynos & Howarth's (2007) Logics of Critical Explanation framework to consider the debate over the public funding of Herceptin in New Zealand for early HER2-positive breast cancer.
