Clare is currently based in London having spent some exciting times travelling & working, with her partner Karl, on various seasonal contracts since meeting in 2013.

Most recently Clare worked as a Personal Chef for a private client and catered for 10-15 guests at their country residence, in Somerset, for 7 days.

Prior to this Clare & Karl worked as a live-in couple for a HNW family in Kings Langley for a 6 months contracted term.

Their last trip abroad was to participate in The Put Foot 2018 Rally delivering shoes to school aged children living in poverty. They spent 2 months of Summer 2018 seeing 6 Southern African countries which they were lucky to be invited on by one of their Ski Chalet guests from the 3 Ski Seasons they worked in The French Alps.

They worked as Guardians of a 16-20 person private villa in The South of France covering the roles of: Chef, Host, House-Keeper, Guardian, Chauffeur, property, pool, grounds, & garden maintenance, administration & communicating with rental guests & owners while in & out of residence.

With under a week off between the Summer role & the end of the 2016/17 Ski Season where Karl worked in the role of Host & Clare as Chef, of a 13-15 person Chalet.

They had a 14 month stint back in the UK having returned from spending 5.5 months in Canada, House & Pet Sitting, followed by 6 months travelling down the West Coast of USA with a truck and trailer visiting Burning Man, San Francisco, LA, Grand Canyon, Mammoth Mountain, Las Vegas & a month island hopping Hawaii. Then headed back to Canada for a further 6 months before returning to Europe in August 2015.

Prior to this Clare spent a year between Beaulieu-sur-Mer / Nice (where Karl & she met) & Tignes Les Brevieres, The Alps working as a seasonaire and snowboarding for the winter 2013/14 season.

Before this change in direction Clare worked for 20 years in Business Management, Corporate Events & Commercial / Investment Banking.

Clare is a keen creator whether it be in the kitchen developing her skills or up-cycling having made mason jar shelves, a bench from a bed frame & attended a jewellery making workshop in Canada.
