Clare Trapasso

Clare Trapasso is a business reporter at Ignites, a Financial Times company, covering the mutual funds industry and writing workplace trend stories. She is also an adjunct journalism professor at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx.

Previously, she was a general assignment reporter for the New York Daily News for more than five years. She covered education, politics, breaking news, courts and real estate in Queens and the rest of the city as a staff writer for the paper. She was also a reporter at the Associated Press in Concord, N.H.

She served two-and-a-half years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Independent Samoa. She has a M.A. in Journalism from New York University and a B.A. in Journalism from SUNY Purchase College.
