Teaching transferable skills to grow independent learners

Hi! My name is Ms. Wong and I have been a Math Teacher for the past 6 years! I have always wanted to be a teacher and I will soon be qualified to teach learners K - 12. Further, I have a passion for Math so much that I create my own math themed stickers with the hopes of motivating students on Math through a little bit of art and fun. I am an avid baker and am always looking for ways to grow my baking ability by modifying recipes based on how I understand ingredients work together. One of my core values is what can I do today that will make future me grateful and able to go further. This a key driver in my teaching practice is I strive to teach with the idea of my students taking whatever they can and using that to benefit their futures.
