I was born and raised in a lil Colorado town called Fort Collins. This was the kind of place that lived on homebrews and fantastic burritos, and had a weekend escape route to the grandeur of the Rockies. Naturally, such a place has a certain kind of impact on a child, if not the uniqueness then the down to earth nature of its people. No doubt about it, I had a spectacular childhood with a gem of a family, something that I cling onto quite dearly to my core attributes.

That said, nothing really trumps my move to China in 2012 in terms of lifetime impact. Even as my days in this lovely country came to a close, I found myself experiencing all new traits and cultures from people I've never quite understood, but always adored. The entire experience has opened my eyes to the devout individuality of the world, and made me realize that no one human being should be assumed insignificant in thought or purpose. It's taught me that some of the greatest issues that humankind will face is that of ignorance.

The experiences I've had and seen have rubbed off on me to such an extent that I feel morally inclined to extend the privilege I was given to those less fortunate. As I begin the next collegiate sector of my life, I'm enthused to be able to choose my own steps and influences in the world, and am equally excited to see what steps I take next in my journey.
