Jennifer Edwards

My name is Jennifer Edwards, I was born into a military family, I grew up in California and Germany. My parents took the family on outings, camping and exploring castles and old gardens all around Europe. My dad always had his film camera with him taking photo's of were are travels would take us. When we got home we would have a family slideshow of where we went. He passed on that gene in me.I now live in the Northwest in a small town called Clark Fork on the Clark Fork River.I still have the "travel bug" in me to go explore and take that photo. To improve my craft I took a Professional Photography class with New York Institute School of PhotographyWho is one of my photo heros and why?Ansel Adams, he "Mastered the Light". He wanted to tell you where he has been and he wanted you to feel about what he see. Looking at Ansel AdamsWhatever type of camera you use, light plays a key role in your photography. It's been said that if the camera is the photographer's "brush", then light is the "paint" used to create a photograph. What inspires me to create?I love capturing images to show the viewer something that they have never seen before, or in a way that they have never seen it, this drives me to keep creating these image so you may be filled with life too."I don't live for photography, I make photographs because it fills me with life"What is the most important piece of advice about life?"See The World Around You" We become so familiar with our own family, friends and neighborhoods that we don't "see" them anymore. Some of the most beautiful photographs imaginable are within a one mile radius of where we live now.
