How does CLA or conjugated linoleic acid burn fat exactly or just how does it help with weight loss? Sure, I know a lot of people claim that it works and a lot of supplements use it and tell us that they will help and that they will work, and of course many times their claims are not met for various reasons which I will talk in this article but let's spend a bit of time and talk about the method here. It is believed that CLA promotes weight loss in humans, and this has been proven and observed in clinical trials, even though it has some problems, which I will also talk about, through having an influence on PPARs.

Now, PPARs stands for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor and don't be ashamed if you didn't know about them, neither did I but I did some research. PPARs are nuclear receptor proteins, molecules which have multiple functions in your body, one of these functions being the regulation of lipid, protein as well as carbohydrate metabolism, as well as cellular development. For those that do not know about CLA, I guess I should've mentioned this in the beginning, we're talking about conjugated linoleic acid, a group of essential and polyunsaturated fatty acids that are found in certain foods.
