Class of 2015 Senate Candidates

Willamette University

Jerome Sader - I know I wasn't on the ballot last election, so no one voted for me, but I filled in a spot a few months ago and you SHOULD vote for me this time around. I am currently working on a task force to better integrate the ASP students within the CLA program, a weekend shuttle program to Portland, and a sexual assault justice and support initiative. A vote for Jerome Sader is a vote for freedom. Contact: <jsader>

Andres Oswill - You might know me as VP of Phi Delta Theta, President of QSU, or my bright yellow hoodie. I am running because I have the commitment and passion to represent your interests as a Class Senator. I want to reach out to find what you're interested in changing, but I would like to focus on working with WITS to improve Willamette's internet connection, something I helped work on my freshman year. Colleen Smyth - I'm proud to have represented our class on Senate this year, working on several projects. I set up return shuttles from PDX after breaks and helped write our new constitution. If elected, I promise to continue serving our class with integrity and dedication. Next year, I will continue helping student organizations navigate their relationships with ASWU. Contact: <csmyth>

Natalie Pate- Over the past year, I have loved being part of Senate. I have lead several initiatives and projects such as the ASWU Q&A Forum and the Safe Sex Initiative. My involvement in various areas on campus gives me experience to be an open minded, informed, active leader. If elected, I plan to continue work on the Safe Sex Initiative and begin tackling issues on campus such as parking, printing, internet quality, and more! Contact: <npate>

Samantha Martinez- Since it’s my first year running for ASWU, I know I can’t include years of experience. What I can offer, however, is passion and dedication to pursue your interests. Next year, I will focus on improving printing services, environmentally friendly practices, and your relationship with the ASWU community. I will make sure your voices are heard and the changes you want to see become a reality! Contact: <martines>
