Her diverse background of over 25 years of business experience in the areas of information technology (web projects and network issues), management and marketing, and employee training and staffing is invaluable when addressing the complexities of technology integration. She has served as a consultant to major corporations, Federal and State agencies in the conversion to digital technology. Mrs. Dawkins teaches Introduction to Technology and the World Wide Web, and Keyboarding and Word Processing on the college level, and at a community development center for teenage mothers and seniors. She is a doctoral student at Walden University pursuing the Doctorate of Education in Administrative Leadership. She was appointed by the late Governor Lawton Chiles as State Ambassador to the Arts for the State of Florida (1994-2000). Clatties is also a pastor's wife and the mother of two adult children and one grandchild.
