Philippines eCif is a program that has been started in 2021. The aim of this said program is to encourage international exchange and cultural exchange between the Philippine and foreign companies. The most important goal of this stated program is to help Filipino businessmen, women, youth and other people involved in business, particularly in international trade. Throughout this program, Filipino workers are able to travel abroad or proceed to other regions of the world. They also have opportunities to expand their business across the world throughout the exchange of their abilities, expertise and knowledge with the assistance of their various foreign counterparts.

For any company to prosper, there has to be an exchange of knowledge and information of its employees both in their country and in a different nation. This can only be achieved if there is an exchange of business practices, systems, policies and objectives. Through this project, Filipino employees gain more information about their business counterparts and also the quality of their services and products.

The program however, faced several criticisms from the international business community. They assert that eCif does not help the growth of the Philippine economy. There are some who also claim that it isn't a feasible choice for companies who do not require extensive internet connectivity. On the flip side, the app is labeled as the best alternative to strengthen the Philippine market. Philippines eCif is an answer to criticisms made from the Free Trade Area Act or FTAA. Critics say that the app might not have any substantial effect on the market, however.

Apart from being an answer to criticisms, the Philippine government sees the program as being of immense assistance to the country's foreign exchange policy. The program encourages the global companies to invest in the Philippines, especially in infrastructure projects. The jobs will ensure better quality of life and employment to the Filipinos. Aside from making the government stronger efficiently, the projects have the capacity to increase tourism and earnings from foreign investors.
