Claudia Rosas

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

I'm a latin american girl living in Barcelona since 2008. I came here to pursue a PhD :) yup! A 21 years old young lady crossed the Atlantic to get a degree.

I accomplished that goal on 2012, and since then I've been working in one of the most amazing places a Computer Scientist can work in Spain... That's it, my computer is a Supercomputer called MareNostrum and hosted inside a chapel. A one-of-a-kind 'superordinador' (the name in Catalan).

Through these years I've learned dance moves, catalan, to skate, to eat, to sail and to row. Yeah, this is my all-weekends favorite hobby. The sport got me discipline, strength, team spirit and of course, is a way to reduce stress.

Shoes, Tech, and Cars lover... passionate about everything I do, and deeply in love of live. My family is the most important part of my live, yet the last 7 months I've had the pleasure to share all my spare time with the sweetest gentleman Spain reserved for me.

I used to write on paper to unload my head. Now that laptops are lighter than a notebook, I decided to get digital :) (a tech girl lover of pencils and paper is now moving to keyboards and screens... what a challenge!)

So welcome to know me better by reading my "not so hidden treasures".

XOXO
