Claudia Liedl
I started my career in 1996 in the European Parliament in Brussels, where I assisted to the work of an Austrian Member of European Parliament and later I have been active in the General Directorate for Research to work out various research papers and a master thesis about the internal European market for electrical energy.
In 1998, I was selected to work as project manager for the Austrian Energy Agency in , where I was in charge of managing renewable energy projects and EU lobbying.
I began employment in the Arbed group, now ArcelorMittal, in 1999 as market research manager in charge of managing market research projects for flat carbon steel. During this period I was active member of the marketing working group of the European Coil Coating Association. In 2002, after the merger with Usinor into Arcelor, I became manager of strategy and marketing, responsible for the Metal processing segment. Since 2006, in my current function as manager for product marketing, I am managing the launch of new products and the promotion of High added value products for the flat steel division of the ArcelorMittal group including branding, marketing plan, communication plan in close co-operation with R&D, technical and sales teams.
