I'm a passionate Museum Educator and a Phd Student in Museum Studies at the University of Verona (Italy).

My Phd project is about emotional engagement in museums. To reach my goal, I have had the pleasure of working in the field of Applied Anthropology in the Museum Education context. I have always continued my studies at the same time as achieving professional growth in museum environments.

Museums and travels are my big fixation.

During my Masters at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris, I carried out research at the Cité de la Musique, and as a result, I wrote a thesis on the activities offered to its audiences. During the years at the Cité de la Musique, I followed the planning and the development of many educational programs, step by step. This experience taught me a lot about visitors’ experiences and also opened me up to the Cultural Policies field.

In the 2014, I wanted to challenge myself within an art museum context and I worked at two different sites in Rome: at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, for the exhibition Empire State Building. Art in New York oggi (“Empire State Building. Art in New York Today”), and at Le Scuderie del Quirinale for the retrospective Tiziano (“Titian”). The encounter with art, especially modern and contemporary art, was certainly an exciting experience that strengthened my method and has helped me by bringing new challenges of interpretation.

In 2015, thanks to University of Verona cooperation program I have been in Sydney for a Visitors Evaluation research at the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Currently, I'm promoting a sperimental School Program EMOZIONI IN MOSTRA! at MART - Museo d'arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto. Through this research I'll collect data to complete my PhD thesis: Emotional engagement in children's visiting experience: ethics behind aesthetics.

I am always looking for new academic or professional environments that can permit me to progress in my experiences, and a research community that demonstrate sensitivity and attention to the nuances of museum education.

My aim is to design, test and verify how museum experiences help visitors to improve understanding and knowledge of themselves and their emotions, particularly the sense of belonging a cultural community.
