I run the design company Vivid Biology. We create concept illustrations and technical diagrams for biomedical science. We work with academic and industry clients around the world and with several leading universities specialising in synthetic biology, genetics and neuroscience. I have given talks on visualising science in Cambridge, Bristol, Newcastle and London.

I also run the companies Ingenious Ink, Boutique Science and SciTutor.

I'm currently studying part-time for an MSc in science communication at the University of the West of England.

In my spare time I like long-distance running, writing fiction and listening to technology podcasts.
