Claudio Cerullo

A resident of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Claudio Cerullo recently launched Teach Anti Bullying, Inc., a local organization aimed at preventing bullying in schools. The nonprofit educates students, parents, and teachers through seminars and other educational events. Most recently, Dr. Cerullo spoke on behalf of Teach Anti Bullying, Inc., at the Autism Walk for Awareness at Plymouth Meeting Mall, in Pennsylvania. Claudio Cerullo's work in bullying and violence prevention predates the 2011 founding of his nonprofit. For example, in 2005, he sat on an expert panel at the White House, sharing his understanding of school violence and anti-bullying measures.

Claudio Cerullo previously worked to improve education for children through several organizations. He held membership in the Drop Out Prevention Task Force created by Governor Ruth Ann Minner and served for three years on his local Board of Education, including one year as President. In 2009, Dr. Cerullo acted as Director of the Delaware Mentoring Council, through which he and Mayor James Baker launched the Greater Wilmington Mentoring Commission, a mentoring program for at-risk youth.

In addition to his work with Teach Anti Bullying, Inc., Claudio Cerullo is a published author. His first anti-bullying book, Teaching Anti-Bullying: A Guide for Parents, Students, and Teachers, came out in December 2011; his second, Stop Bullying Me, is scheduled for release in 2012. Dr. Cerullo has also written four children's books, all of which are available through Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com: A Thankful Day, Isabella Goes to Kindergarten, Isabella's Rainy Day with her Friends, and Isabella Goes Back to School.
