After a background in teaching, counseling and education, I became certified as a Christian Life and Supported Living Coach. I am committed to teaching, encouraging and providing support services to all who are looking to live a healthy and wholesome life. I am living the life I encourage others to live. As a five year breast cancer survivor, I am the change I want to see and that is for all to be toxic free. Although, I was assured that God would carry me through this battle OK, I realized, I had an important role to play with ensuring this blessing not be taken for granted! This is when my new beginning of living a toxic-free life flourished. After many years of research, I found there were very few selections of 100% toxic-free products. There is a huge difference between non-toxic and toxic-free. I learned much of the marketing of products is unregulated and completely dishonest. Although, I was able to locate a few trusted products locally and online, I was forced to make many of the products I used. Now, I have a few trusted companies offering a complete line of products to transform my entire life! There is HOPE for those seeking to be healthy and live toxic free!!! I am proud to be a part of this great and powerful movement! God created me toxic-free and that’s the way I intend to be!
One of my passions is my love and support for In The Pink, a non-profit boutique committed to helping others heal, cope and survive the effects of cancer, has been a true blessing in my life, providing supplies, support and beautiful friendships throughout my journey and even now. Sponsored by In The Pink is the The Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club and I'm a proud member on one of the teams, the Mammoglams, an inspirational and competitive rowing team, made up of courageous breast cancer survivors, a "floating support group" going strong since its inception in 2012. Our mission is to provide support for survivors in all stages of their journey and to win medals! Our motto is "we're winning the battle, now we're ready to paddle!"
