Clay Myers II

I have two passions: golf and music.

After a successful college career & qualifying for the 2012 U.S. Amateur at Cherry Hills, I turned professional. With the help of my parents, emotionally and financially, I've played on various mini tours and took some time in 2014 to caddie for my friend Cheyenne Woods. In early 2015, I was called join the cast on the golf reality show "Big Break", where I got a lot of exposure. In June 2015, I played in the Fed Ex-St. Jude Classic, a PGA Tour event hosted in my hometown of Memphis, Tn. My goal is to play golf on the PGA Tour full time. Until then I'm taking every opportunity I can to play in competitive situations to get the experience I need to get there.

Between events it is all about the kids. I first learned the game of golf through The First Tee of Memphis when I was 8 years old. The First Tee helped mold me into who I am today. They emphasize teaching more than just golf. They focus on life lessons and how golf plays a major role in that. I take that with me every day and give it back as much as I can by speaking to First Tee groups all over the country.

This entire process has been a learning experience, and since it's good for me to have more talents than just golf, look for my song, The Anthem, on iTunes and check me out in the 2015 Spring Golf Galaxy catalog as a golf model and in other commercials for Scheels Sports and Dick's Sporting Goods.

I know this was what I am supposed to do, play tournament golf to inspire more diversity in the game at its highest level...and change the world.

I am blessed to have the opportunity to turn my dream of playing golf professionally on the PGA Tour into reality. I have played on various tours such as NGA Hooters Tour, E-Golf Tour, Web.com & PGA Monday Qualifiers, Florida Professional Tour, Fore the Players Tour, West Florida Tour, Advocates Tour, and the OGA Tour. Having such ambition not only motivates me through my performance but keeps me grounded and humble through my success.
