Known online as "UltraClay: blogger, photographer, geek," I'm also a traveler, eater and explorer. I shoot and write about food, restaurants, bars and events.
As a regular contributor to Midtown Lunch and Nona Brooklyn and the event photographer for Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan, my camera and I are in front of the latest and greatest food trends in New York.
My photos have appeared online and in print, most recently in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bon Appetit, amNewYork and Lonely Planet, as well as on local blogs With Love From Brooklyn, Gothamist, Brooklyn Based and Brokelyn.
Food/Work, my latest photography project, tells the story of the work and workers behind our food. From butcher shops to restaurant kitchens to markets, supper clubs and cooking classes, I am seeking out the process and personalities that power our food obsessions.
I am available to shoot events, portraits and editorial assignments. See my portfolio, stock photos and prints for sale at claywilliamsphoto.com.
