Hello, my name is Clement Ode Adole I am an innovative development worker with a background in Geographic Information systems (GIS) from the Nigeria Defence Academy Postgraduate school Kaduna. My first introduction into the development sector was in the first ever national farmers/pastoralist dialogue conference organized by USAID and implementing partners. As a resource person in the conference, I used GIS to illustrate the tussle for limited natural resources as a key driver in the farmers-pastoralist conflict in the middle-belt states of Nigeria. As a geospatial analyst, I continue to support Mercy Corps Nigeria conflict management programs by mapping violence data in implementing sites which is used for planning, monitoring, and dialogue. Other ways GIS can be applied include Fuelwood study, safety study, market systems, solid waste disposal, and future floods. As a Monitoring and Evaluation consultant, i was the lead in the midline assessment for Mercy Corps conflict program-TARE. I designed developed and implemented M&E tools and methodologies. I Map and share findings from violence Incident data with the security and safety department, my contribution in the election scenario contingency plan plaid a key role in the 2019 Nigeria general elections. I produced heat and cluster maps for the security team to aid planning and logistics for staff travels, digitized safe and unsafe route leading to program implementing site.

I am currently consulting for the KAICIID Dialogue center, Women without walls initiative (WOWWI) on the PICVIPS project; a Pre and Post-conflict assessment using spatial technology, and I remain a vital part of Mercy Corps conflict programs.

I have professional training with Alliance for peacebuilding on peacebuilding design and monitoring, PMDPro (project management for development professionals) certification, PM@MC (project management at Mercy Corps) certification, capacity building training in stress/resilience in programming, Energy, environment, and climate
