Clement is a highly motivated, hardworking and responsible individual, with a drive towards community development and goal attainment. Born to the family of Prof Emman & Barr Oby Owuamalam, he is a Registered Computer Engineer and a member of the British Computer Society, NCS Computer Society, NSE Society of Engineers, and IEEE Computer Society.
Clement is widely travelled and has coordinated Rotary & Rotaract service projects and trainings in USA, Europe, Asia, and across Africa. Besides Rotary, he has also served as president of five different service organisations including the Int’l Climate Champions of the British Council.
Clement is team-oriented and experienced in stimulating success among young people. He also enjoys transferring knowledge. He is a recipient of the NHS Positive Stars Nomination, Rotaract Europe Award, NTU High Achievers Award, NR-MDIO Rotaract National Merit Award, National Polio Plus Outstanding Service Award, MTN Foundation Scholarship Award, Agbami Scholarship Award, and similar accolades.
Sir Clem, as he is fondly called, is happily married to Onyi. He is also a Major Donor, Benefactor, and Multiple Paul Harris Fellow (PHF+8) of The Rotary Foundation. At his leisure, he enjoys volunteering, running, indoor games, travelling, and spending time with family & friends. He works as Senior Information Analyst at NHS Nottinghamshire and is interested in IT for sustainable development. He also holds a master's degree in IT Security (with Distinction) from Nottingham Trent University.
