I am a finance professional,management and tax consultant,insurance broker, training facilitator and conference speaker. My journey into the world of finance cannot be said to have been direct.. I started out with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry only to find out on graduation that there were hardly any exciting work opportunities for science graduates in Nigeria in their core discipline.Faced with a career change decission,for me finance was a no-brainer.I thought it offered excellent opportunity for a fulfilled career both locally and globally,and in employment,self-employment and in business.
I started my finance career joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria[ICAN] and became chatered in quick time. Today i am a member of several other professional bodies,both local and international including ACCA, CIS,ISACA,CFA and CITN.

Part of what I do is to help my clients in the area of proper financial reporting, statutory audit and other assurance engagements,tax management,risk management,human capital development,information systems audit,financial planning,strategic financial management,investment and portfolio advisory, alternative investments,business applications.fraud detection and prevention, internal control design and implementation and fixed assets management.Recently I have started to work with artisans and other low income earning people in our communities by organising them into co-operatives and groups where they are trained on enterpreneurship,money management and financial planning.The cooperatives also help them to pool resources together for investment, acquiring assets on payment plans and also provide micro-lending opportunity for members.This we belief is the most sustainable approach to solving the prevalent poverty problem rather than the so-called poverty alleviation schemes.

The greatest joy in what i do is the smile on the faces of our clients when I help them resolve knotty financial issues by way of increasing their earnings,eliminating losses,expanding their bussinesses,increasing return on investment, and assistance in accessing project financing.
