Born and raised in France, during 4 years she studied film theory in The Sorbonne university in Paris. Then she left to Poland where she studied at the Lodz filmschool cinematography department,

During her studies, Clemence made several original short films on the basis of her own screenplays (Karolina and Lukasz, The land of nothing) and she has participated in a number of other short films (Social Butterfly, dir. Lauren Wolkstein, selected at the Sundance festival 2013). She has worked on both fictions and documentaries, shot not only Poland but also in France, Morocco, Russia, India…

She has been working as a camera assistant on several french production (Les saisons produced by Galatée Films, Agnus Dei produced by Mandarin Cinema).

Now she works both as a freelance cinematographer and is an active member of the Amondo Films Foundation.
