With a decade of experience working in urban, suburban, and rural areas in New York and Louisiana, I've leveraged my experience and skills in non-profit leadership, education and career access, youth development, program development, leadership development, events organizing, sociology, and education to work with communities to help a new generation of innovators and change makers discover their untapped potential.

I've worked with over 2000 young people, organized over 100 programs and events (including 9 conferences), facilitated over 50 workshops for both youth and adults, moderated over 15 panels, and have counseled and assisted over 200 diverse clients apply and gain acceptance to various colleges and universities, receiving up to $60,000 in scholarships.

Currently, I am the Teen Programs Manager at Step Up in New York, a national non-profit organization that inspires professional women to mentor and inspire teen girls during after school and weekend programs and conferences. Ensuring that 300 teen girls become more confident, college-bound, and career focused, I lead a team of staff who execute programs in 5 partner high schools across New York City. I hire and train teaching artists, organize Step Up's annual conferences, manage and organize company social responsibility and mentorship events (AOL, Pandora radio, Atlantic Records, Macy's, KPMG, DoSomething, etc), facilitate monthly workshops, and more.
