I am an educator, culinary artist, event producer, inclusion thought leader, entrepreneur, brand strategist, and founder of pop up restaurant + culinary collective BLK PALATE, which was prominently featured in The New York Times, and has worked with brands and private clients such as media brand VICE; athletic brand Lululemon; eyewear entrepreneurs, TV personalities, and DJs Coco + Breezy; live action series Little Apple; technology art collective BUFU; and more.

Named as one of The New School's Student Success Stories, my words and work have also been highlighted inBon Appetit, Real Simple, OUT Magazine, Food Book Fair, and other outlets.

I'm a 2018 scholarship recipient of The Wing and a recipient of the 2012 Isaac C. Kwock Award for Social Justice, a $10K grant given to produce the 2-day Young People's Peace + Justice Conference. And as an AmeriCorps alumni, everything I do is people-focused and service oriented.

Leveraging a 14-year career in education, learning + development, social emotional learning, corporate social responsibility, and non-profit leadership, hospitality, and cooking, I create opportunities, resources, events, and brands thatfill gaps where there are social needs. I curate high quality and well designed spaces and activations that allow people to learn while engaging with one another and content. I cook food that tells African Diasporic stories and histories in accessible and unpretentious ways.

Let's build.
