One year ago, I was two hundred and six pounds. I decided it was time to lose weight! Before I tried working out many times, and I failed. I figured out this was not only about what I was eting, but stress and everything else with my life. I knew it was time for a big change. I was very embarrased of having my pictures taken, and then I knew it was time to do something about this. When I was young I was a covergirl for some magazines(including covergirl from Playboy in 1983). I was an actress and I moved to America, and had trouble with the language. And all these years, all I did was sit in my car and drive, and never worked out seriously until a year ago. I tried a couple times, and had a personal trainer. It did not work. Then I decided to go on my own! I started walking, I walked for six months. I maybe lost only five to ten pounds. It was very frustrating. But, I still kept going. I found a place that a friend of mine suggested to me, and I went to a program that had me eating only 500 calories a day! I did this for a week. I was really angry, and I lost ten pounds in one week. Then I figured out that was just a jump start for myself. I didn't like the program for me. I didn't want to lose weight so fast because I was afraid my body would simply collapse. Then I started to run everyday, twice a day. Then I started dancing, running, AND walking! I was doing all sorts of combinations. People started thinking I was crazy! But I really didn't care. I started July last year. I started taking pictures and videos and posting them on Facebook. I'd take pictures of what i cooked, ate. It was nothing but spicy tuna salad for six months, for lunch at a resturaunt near me called Bento cafe. On top of that breakfast was always fruit, I had a banana evryday and other fruits. I also drink coconut water almost everyday, also protein shakes or bars. My dinner is ALWAYS chicken or fish. I cut my rice out, stopped drinking, and NEVER smoke. And here I am. Now 148 pounds. I am not taking any pills or drugs. And I believe if you want to do it you can do it, because I did it. I am such a happy girl!
