Cleveland Miller
Connecticut resident and environmental activist Cleveland Miller founded eco-merchandiser Zooparoo in 2009. Descending from the same family as President Grover Cleveland, Miller was born and raised in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where her family has lived for 14 generations. She is a member of the prestigious Daughters of the American Revolution.
Cleveland Miller attended the Clayton College of Natural Health, a holistic health school in Peachtree City, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition from the Clayton College of Natural Health in 2008.
Cleveland Miller served as CEO of Zooparoo, an eco-merchandiser that specializes in the development of green children’s products, including toys. In this capacity, Miller oversaw brand and product prototype creation, product and distribution management, sales and marketing, and contract negotiations.
Among the environmental organizations that Cleveland Miller supports are the World Wildlife Fund, the anti-pesticide organization Environmental Working Group, the Pesticide Action Network, and the sustainable living group Heifer International. In her spare time, Miller enjoys creating large, life-scale paintings, and has sold her work in New York, Boston, and Martha’s Vineyard. She also enjoys reading, particularly short stories by authors such as Truman Capote, Raymond Carver, and Andre Dubus.
Cleveland Miller currently resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband, Kevin, and their two sons.
