I started my life-long love affair with coffee more than a decade ago when I first arrived in New Zealand. Up until that time, coffee to me was just a beverage you take with a "pandesal" as snacks on many of those long hot Philippines afternoons. It was the farthest it could get from a barista made espresso coffee that I love and truly enjoy of which I am very passionate about.

I started of as a casual coffee drinker until I became an enthusiast and now after becoming a professional barista myself, teaching and owning my own cafe, I do consider myself a coffee connoisseur.
