I am an Area Vice President delivering global benefits consulting and HR services for Arthur J. Gallagher's International Benefits Services. As a senior level global benefits and HR professional with in depth knowledge, I assist multinational companies in managing complex problems and “putting the puzzle together” to ensure compliant, competitive and cost effective benefit and HR solutions that are in line with their company philosophy to attract and retain talent.
I have 14 years of professional work experience (11 years international) in the roles of Assistant Vice President, Senior Consultant of Global Benefits for Lockton Companies and Account Executive at All Net, the Allianz Network for international employee benefits. Prior to working internationally, my work experience was in domestic HR, employee benefits, insurance and brokerage.
I graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. I earned my Certified Employee Benefits (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business University of Pennsylvania in August 2012. I earned my Global Professional of Human Resources (GPHR) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management and HR Certification Institute in June 2010.
I have a working knowledge of underlying statutory, mandatory and supplemental Pension, Life, Accident, Disability, Medical, BTA, BTM, Political and Security Evacuation and Global Wellness programs around the world for Local Nationals and expatriates/TCNs, and am a Subject Matter Expert for the Asia Pacific region. I also have an understanding of applicable local laws and regulations.
Playing a strategic and visionary role, I am passionate in delivering customized creative solutions that meet clients’ needs and objectives. Areas of expertise include consulting, leading the marketing, sales and ongoing account management for global employee benefit programs, international HR concerns, harmonization of benefits post-M&A, multinational pooling feasibility and optimization studies, insurance, brokering, network development, relationship building, leadership, training, mentoring and generating business growth.
