Cliff Long from Orlando joined the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association in December 2017, with the responsibility of strengthening the organization so it could meet the needs of one of the fastest-growing regions in America. Since then, he has guided the association, the eighth-largest REALTOR® association in the country, through steady expansion, financial stability, and stronger leadership in housing, advocacy, and regional issues.

He has more than 20 years of experience serving as a chief executive in both nonprofit and for-profit environments. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations navigate both challenging periods and opportunities for growth. His work has included leading financial recoveries, creating membership-based subsidiaries, and supporting capital development. His leadership approach focuses on accountability, clear direction, and long-term planning.

Cliff currently serves as the association's CEO and manages an operation with an annual budget exceeding $13 million. The organization includes nearly 40 staff members and consultants who support more than 20,000 real estate professionals. Its work spans several areas, including education, professional standards, advocacy, international partnerships, and business development.

When Realtor Cliff Long from Orlando assumed the CEO position, the association had about 14,500 members. During his leadership, membership increased to more than 20,000, marking the largest growth period in its history. During COVID-19, the association became the fastest-growing mega association in America, growing by 11.5% in 2020. This progress came through stronger governance, increased board engagement, and clear strategic priorities that aligned staff goals with measurable outcomes.

One of the important milestones during his tenure was the purchase and relocation to a new 45,000-square-foot headquarters. He led the financing, planning, and execution of the project. The facility also includes tenant revenue space that helps diversify income and now serves as a central place for education, collaboration, and professional engagement across Central Florida.

Cliff Long also serves as President and CEO of the organization’s for-profit subsidiary, the Orlando Regional Real Estate Network, and as CEO of its foundation. Through these roles, he works to connect business development, mission-driven initiatives, and community investment through a unified strategy.

Cliff Long from Orlando continues to focus on responsible leadership, financial discipline, and long-term service that support members and the communities they serve.
