A member of the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Clifford "Cliff" Corso draws upon more than three decades of fixed income and credit investing experience to provide strategic direction advisory services to Insight Investment in New York. He also chairs the firm's US Fixed Income Investment Meeting and the US Risk Oversight Committee. Insight brought in Cliff Corso in 2015 after he facilitated the sale of his asset management platform, Cutwater Asset Management, to the UK-based firm. The transaction doubled Insight's assets under management from $20 to $40 billion.

Cliff Corso founded Cutwater Asset Management in New York in 1994 and grew it to achieve more than $50 billion in assets under management over a 21-year period. Acting as CIO, CEO, and member of its Executive Management Committee, he developed its risk management framework, investment philosophy, and areas of sector focus. He also served in director roles at Alliance, Natwest, and Marine Midland Bank.

Regarded as an innovator in credit derivatives investment strategies, Clifford Corso has been a frequent guest on networks such as CNBC, where he delivers commentary on US bond markets, among other topics. He holds an MBA in finance from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University. He was a member of the varsity lacrosse team at the latter.
