Currently living at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire (and moving gracelessly into retirement). Currently peeking at new paradigms/ways of being in/relating to this world. Still enquiring, and giving gentle attention to how we are tumbling into a global revolution and how to exert wise leverage and energy to this. But (and?) life in this community always offers lots of demands and distractions, many pleasurable and fruitful. Some full of learnings.

In 2019, as well as leading a full life, I was active with Extinction Rebellion.

in 2017 & 2018 I was focussed on training a pair of Traditional Hereford steers, Bob & Bernie, to be draught oxen. We learnt a lot, but not enough, and so they went to the abbatoir and became high quality organic beef.

I've done a few other things, at different times....

carpenter & builder

vegetable grower & shepherd

retreat guide, counsellor, mentor

facilitator and group dynamics consultant

social innovator.

In recent years, I have been connected with

'Bicester Green - a Centre for Skills, Sustainability and Secondhand Stuff' (www.bicestergreen.org.uk)

Climate Outreach (www.climateoutreach.org.uk)

Braziers Park School of Integrative Social Research (www.braziers.org.uk)

Old Hall (oldhall.org.uk)

More recently, I have been involved in campfireconvention.network/ and the group formerly known as the Transformative Adaptation Village at the Green Gathering.

The headline photo is a timber, cob and reclaimed-materials roundhouse that I enjoyed putting together with a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers in Herefordshire.
