Hi, I'm Cliff.

Okay, so calling myself an explorer is a stretch. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. But let me explain:

In January 2016, I started something called The Replacement Year. Each month I'll be replacing one aspect of my current lifestyle with a new one--a seemingly better, more enlightened, guru-approved one.

Why? I want to see if these guys are on to something, or if they're just hanging out on my Facebook feed to help support my inferiority complex. Plus I'm nearly 38 years old and a little bit scared of my longer-term future, especially given current trends. I'm happy but get stressed, I'm not as healthy as I'd like to be, and I want to make sure I'm as good a father, husband, friend, and steward of the earth as I can possibly be.
