An international private banker with 20 years of experience in tax law and financial services, Clinton Hodges serves as a senior director and client relationship officer for EFG Capital Advisors. In 2008, he established the firm’s office in Los Angeles, California, where he directs portfolio management and wealth advising services for locally-based, high-net-worth individuals. Providing clients with tax-efficient strategic planning, Clinton Hodges has developed a lucrative practice that manages diversified investments in entities around the globe.

Prior to joining EFG, Clinton Hodges held a senior director position at the Los Angeles office of Bank of New York Mellon Private Wealth Management. Along with counseling business bankers on the sale of clients’ companies and designing tax planning and investment strategies for high-net-worth clients, he also helped found BNY Mellon’s Century City bureau. Earlier in his career, Clinton Hodges operated a private law firm where he aided business owners and affluent families with tax and estate planning. While maintaining his private practice, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve immediately after the events of 9/11 and served for four years as a petty officer and intelligence specialist for the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Clinton Hodges possesses both a BS in political science and BA in philosophy from the University of Southern California, as well as an MBA in international business from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France. A series 66 authorized investment advisor, Clinton Hodges has also earned designation as a Trust and Estate Practitioner from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
