I am a Digital Motion Picture and Media Editor available for freelance or long-term work.
I am certified in Avid Media Composer 7 and skilled in Final Cut X and 7, and Adobe Creative Cloud. I also have background in Graphic Design, Writing and music.
I recently moved to Jersey City after living in Brooklyn for six years. My home editing studio has been greatly enhanced with the extra space.
I have been a lifelong movie fanatic. As a kid in the 80's and 90's I watched every movie committed to VHS, partly when I was a clerk at a video store.
I started out working in Graphic Design and Illustration. But it wasn't for me and I had to switch to my true passion, Film.
I studied Film and Digital Media at University of California, Santa Cruz.
Since graduating I have worked in Film and TV Art Department, freelance jobs and my own personal projects.
I recently completed certified training at Manhattan Edit Workshop, including the Avid certification tests.
Particular areas of skill are narrative pacing, the use of music and graphic design elements.
