Clive Bolton holds diverse professional experience in the field of electronic product design for the robotics, medical and consumer electronics industries. In 1989, he founded Bolton Engineering, Inc. of Andover, Massachusetts. An advanced software and electronic development company, Bolton Engineering focuses on developing high-quality, multi-technology electronics and embedded software. The company is certified to work with top vendors, including Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Microchip and Altera. Throughout the course of his career with Bolton Engineering, Clive Bolton has achieved numerous industry honors and awards. He won first place in the Penstock/Toko RF Design Contest, first place in the Microchip PIC Microprocessor Design Contest and first place in the Sunstone PCB Contest. His products have been featured in Popular Science and have been listed among the Best 100 Products by Wired Magazine.

Educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Clive Bolton earned his degree in electrical engineering in 1984. Early in his career, he gained experience as an electronics manufacturing industry specialist with McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm. He currently maintains active affiliations with the Association for Computing Machinery, IEEE Consultants' Network, and other professional organizations.
