Kofod Dogan
I am hoping all is well with you. I have perhaps not been online much but and Things have been active for me, I did have one problem for you. Maybe you have done any research on the origin of the collar and it is original use?
Also, I've seen it found in other ways, for instance, leash getting connected to one band or both bands? Which data are you aware of and what approach do you use? I am always available to learning true information.
Thanks for the time,

Dear Jag:
I actually do not know the history of the pinch collar. It is a good question. If I understand anything about it, I will write about it here, within my e-zine.
In terms of using one ring (the D-ring) or two (the D-ring and the safety ring)... Usually, I just catch the lead for the D-ring. This is the way the collar was created to be used.
You are able to, however, catch the lead to both rings. This can damper the modification. You may use the touch collar in this way if you've a really sensitive dog or if you are teaching an exercises where--for some reason--the dog is self-correcting, inadvertently.
Like, when teaching the dog 'get a grip on' in protection work, we attempt to connect to the dog he must only lunge when the attack command is given, first. ahead of the attack order is given In the event the dog lunges, then he is fixed. Nevertheless, in this scenario, you want to error on the medial side of under-correcting canine, in the place of have him believe that he should NOT lunge by unintentionally over-correcting. Make sense?
That is all for the time being, people!
