I’m here to guide you through your exam preparation, and my wish for you is to pass the exam on your first try just like I did. To that end, I will share with you the methods, strategies, and the CMA toolkit that I used to achieve my CMA credential in 6 months. Visit my FAQ page for answers to all your CMA related questions.
There are other CMA sites out there but the people who run them are CPAs. They mean well but the CPA exam is very different than the CMA exam. This is why it’s best to be guided by someone who is a CMA and who knows what it takes to prepare and pass this rigorous exam.
I’ve been in the accounting field for over 12+ years. I’m a Certified Management Accountant, Corporate Controller, and author of CMAcoach.com.
When I made the decision to become a CMA, it seemed like such an impossible goal. With passing rates as low as 35%, I didn’t feel very confident that I would pass, much less on my first try.
After developing a study plan and following it diligently while discovering studying and exam techniques, I sat for each exam and passed both on my first try. It took me a total of 6 months to prepare for both exams.
Being a CMA has opened up so many doors in my career as a Corporate Controller and entrepreneur. I haven’t only acquired advanced skills in accounting and finance, but also in business and strategy.
In addition, the CMA Coach Study Guide is the perfect tool if you are self-studying to help you pass the CMA exam on your first try.
