Lee Derby
I was born in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Texas Military Institute also in San Antonio. I served in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1973 with foreign Service in Turkey and Vietnam where I received several military awards and citations. I have BA Degree in English and a Masters in Sociology and History. I am now retired and devote most of my time to community activities, especially those that involve our veterans, the homeless and in the schools. I enjoy traveling, fishing and woodworking writing and research. I am a Gold Legacy Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and have held several positions at the National and The Department of Texas levels. I am also a Life Member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the American Legion. I and my wife Doris live in Conroe, Texas.
