Christopher Geary

Christopher is COO of the Asianet Group of Companies working internationally with high growth and multinational clients advising on all aspects of attracting, retaining and developing their most talented executives, market entry and private equity strategy. Christopher lives in Hong Kong, having also lived and worked in the UK, USA and South America. In 2007, he was shortlisted in the UK Enterprising Young Brits Awards for his work establishing the UK operations of the Asianet Group in London. Christopher is a Founding Director of Hatton Studios in Hong Kong, a Jewellery School that teaches the art of fine Jewellery design and making, as well as teaching and consulting on ethical practices in the Jewellery industry.

Christopher holds an LL.B. (Hons) in Law from the University of Bristol and speaks English, Spanish and French, also having knowledge of Portuguese and Japanese. He is currently trying to learn Mandarin with a long term goal to also speak Cantonese.

Christopher has had a life-long interest in working with charities and social ventures. In 2001 he spent three months living in Lima working with 'CEDRO', a drug prevention charity active on the ground with street children in the Favela suburb of Villa Maria. In 2009 he completed a 29 mile ultra-marathon to raise funds for Read For Life in Durban. Christopher founded the 'Hong Kong Treasure Hunt' in 2011, an urban adventure race raising money and awareness for charities supporting youth and the elderly. This is now an annual event. Christopher is the Founder of the Fargo Foundation in Hong Kong that works with individuals identified by interventionist and educative charities working in deprived and impoverished communities that have an interest and ability to pursue business or creative arts careers.

Christopher is currently the Curator of the Hong Kong Global Shapers Hub. The Global Shapers initiative was established by The World Economic Forum as part of its policy of engaging and developing young leaders to positively and proactively commit to work to improve the state of the world.
