Instructional Technology in Maryland

I believe there are strong binds between academics and technologies and the two are symbiotic. In technology’s support of education, students and teachers receive assistive possibilities previously unattainable, from keyboarding to screen readers to the organizational aspect of curriculum mapping databases. In addition, technology brings new horizons to schools, such as in the fruition of the global classroom and in real-time, collaborative, project-based learning beyond the constraints of classroom walls. And in education’s support of technology, the boundaries are always being pushed. The creative imagination and desires of leaders, teachers, and students jump beyond current realities and dictate technology’s expanding and reinventing the definitions of communication and resourcefulness.
