Writing a piece about myself is something that I truly dislike doing. The reason I dislike doing this is because people always try to judge based on how each person stacks up to the next, like a competition. I am a very modest and laid back person. When first meeting someone, I will listen more than I will talk. Yet, I am very outgoing and I am truly interested in other people's life stories. I am able to relate well with others, as I have been fortunate enough to travel and be exposed to different people and ways of life. I am seldom afraid to try something new.
I grew up just south of Atlanta, Georgia in a family of four. We enjoyed many hobbies as a family including: hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, skiing, wakeboarding, drag racing, and traveling abroad. These activities truly broadened my view on life at a very young age due to the broad realm of people that you meet through each activity. I am also fortunate to be graced with an athletic ability to play many sports, and have done so in high school and college career so far. These sports include football, track and field, church softball, and club rugby.
Some of my greatest accomplishments include getting into the University of Georgia, catching a 120 lb. sailfish, and traveling to Japan. These have all been extremely memorable experiences. Hopefully as life goes on I will be able to expand upon these accomplishments and keep striving for better things.
