Chris Ruggiero

I am Chris Ruggiero and I am currently nineteen years old. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, although I was raised in Powder Springs. I attended Hillgrove High School all four of my high school years. In high school, I was highly involved without really meaning to be. I was a two time varsity letterman in track and field and a one-time varsity letterman in cross-country. I managed to receive those three varsity letters without really knowing how to be a distance runner. It took a lot of dedication and was tough in track as we had a different distance coach in each of my three seasons with the team. I was also a member of both Beta Club and The National Honors Society for three years. In addition, I was involved in History Club, Latin Club and FBLA at various times in high school.

Before high school, I competed on various sports teams in baseball, football, hockey, and soccer. I am a die-hard Atlanta Falcons, Braves, and Hawks fan. Currently, my major is Political Science. However, I am very fascinated with the study of psychology and therefore will probably take an introductory level psychology class next semester. Afterward, I will probably change my major, most likely to double-major in psychology and political science. Since most psychologist are required to have at least a master’s degree to find a job, I will probably get a masters, most likely from Georgia State University so I can hopefully work a solid income job in Atlanta as I work on the degree. As far as where I will work once I am completely done with school, I am really not sure. I have heard that industrial psychologist make a lot of money, which is the whole reason I am getting any degree from college in the first place, to made money!
