Energy. I’ve got it. When it’s low, I’ll create it. To what use do I put my energies? That’s a loaded question. It’s all about balance...

I'm yet another Yankee that has migrated south -- I came to NC in 2000 to attend UNC Greensboro & never turned back. I have to admit that it’s the biggest and best decision I’ve ever made.

My brain is always firing and craving to be stimulated, though I can certainly enjoy the sound of silence when it’s offered and necessary. I always want to know more and put that knowledge to good use, so if you catch my DVR list, there’s a lot of trivia shows – Jeopardy!, Cash Cab – or shows on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Science Channel. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll definitely catch my attention with mentions of Family Guy.

I’m a walking oxymoron at times. Dance has been a part of my life since before my 3rd birthday and continues to be as I perform with a modern dance company. On the other hand, I love sports. When I say I love sports I mean I love watching, playing [some], and talking about sports. Driving by ESPN on the way to dance class every day until graduating high school probably had something to do with it.

Orange. I love it. It’s not just my favorite color; it’s become my signature. I even like just about any food that is orange, but face it orange foods are tasty! I'll openly admit that I lack the cooking gene.

I have a large, mostly mute dog and a small, very chatty cat. I don’t trust people who don’t like animals. Take that as you will.

I love puzzles and trivia. I love all sorts of music. I love to move, but I know when to sit down and relax. I love things that make me think and challenge my brain to solve. I have a love/hate relationship with shoes -- I love cool shoes, but I'd rather only wear them when necessary. I love learning. I love to meet new people and try new things. I love to make people smile, especially when they really need it. Most importantly, I know when to love.
