Chris Spence is an educator with a strong record of community service. He is recognized for his pursuit of excellence, equity and social responsibility, as well as for leadership in developing policies, programs and procedures, which encourage the active involvement of all relevent stakeholders in the educational process.

His various projects have received funding from the Ministry of Health, Department of Multiculturalism and Heritage, Employment and Immigration Canada, the National Crime Prevention Centre, The National Film Board, the Canadian Race Relations Foundation and Boards of Education.
