I am an administrator at Lee University where I am the campus instructional technologist. I work with my colleagues in implementing technology in their teaching practices. Additionally, I am a professor of Digital Media Technology, Portrait Photography, Instructional Technology courses.

Originally from South Florida, growing up in the Florida Keys and then West Palm Beach 18 years later for college, I moved to Cleveland, TN based on a great career opportunity at the age of 36 years. I felt "great" because I had started my first career position. My first day on the job was January 3, 1996 and have been pleased ever since.

Through the process of finishing my PhD in 2009, I discovered a few things about myself. First, I found that I love research (both quantitative and qualitative) and Second, I either became, or there was the emergence of me being a life-long learner. I continue learning and taking courses or doing research to discover more. [I wish I had been this way when I was 18 and in college].
I am now TESOL certified. I enjoy teaching English as a second or foreign language. Additionally, I continue to do research when possible on ways of learning and teaching.

The things I love to do, both hobbies and otherwise, are learning, reading, photography (primarily portraiture), language learning (Russian, Ukrainian, & Spanish at this time), am a coffee lover, and I simply enjoy the nature of life.
