Nothing feels as free as tasting sap tickled air before kicking off my favorite running shoes after a long endured workout. Its a passion that urks me after sitting too long and begs to be dragged outside.

Enjoyment for the outdoors and fitness has taught me how to love. You must love your work to do it everyday. Crave the struggle and forgo distractions.

Interaction with others and making sincere connections with people is incredibly important to me. Everyone has a lesson within them open to explore--if you ask the right questions. Digging deep and finding out people's stories and most importantly, what lesson they may have in return, is what journalism is all about.

My goals are to pursue my dream in working for a magazine. I want to fumble with words and a deadline because it is a challenge. Encountering a new story is new and exciting like the first time with a new pair of shoes--it's impossible to know where they will take you.

I have experience with InDesign from working as the managing editor of the Saddleback College student run magazine, Orange Appeal and Orange Coast Magazine. Feature writing is my forte but I also create other content as well. Below is a link to sample my writng as well as my Facebook and Instagram.
